After graduating in 2004, Andres worked in labs both in Perth and the UK before teaming up with Angus to launch Insight Dental Ceramics. Specialising in implant restorations, it’s the challenge of complex implant and high aesthetic cases that really drives Andres. When he’s not sharing his knowledge he’s expanding it, attending multiple courses and workshops to learn the newest techniques from the world’s leading technicians.
When he’s not hand-crafting crowns Andres switches the lab for the lycra hitting the road for a weekend ride. A keen family man, Andres also enjoys fishing, home brewing and supporting his much-maligned football team, the Dockers.
After winning the Australian Commercial Dental Laboratories Association – Dental Apprentice of the Year in 2004, Angus worked in all facets of the dental laboratory before specialising as a Dental Ceramist. With a passion for handcrafting crown and bridge restorations, Angus is a regular at conferences and training workshops to ensure unique and highly aesthetic results for every case.
As comfortable on the water as he is in the lab, Angus loves nothing more than reeling in a big one. Whether fishing, crabbing, craying, or some days just praying, Angus is never far away from seafood and salt water. Family oriented, he also loves the footy supporting Andre’s cross-town rivals in the Eagles.
